Since I am the person behind the website, I find it appropriate to write a little about myself, my interests and the website.

My name is Knarl Stuart and I’m the owner of Cool e-Solutions which operates this site plus a number of other web media and e-retail websites. I reside in Sunnyvale, California which is in the middle of the Silicone Valley area in the northern half of California.

I have been in software development for a long time, some of my friends would say that I am a tech geek. But over the passes few years a lot of my interest has shifted to more fun thing like mountain biking, hiking, fitness and photography.

I am lucky enough to live in an area with a lot of large state parks, open space area and biking trails nearby so mountain biking has become a big part of my life.

    The site contains a collection of information and photos about cycling. The content is centers around mountain biking, but information and references to other cycling, sports, ski and snowboarding disciplines is also included.

How Our System Works

  • The Cool Biking Zone currently runs as a Content Management System (CMS) on the Wordpress platform with a customized Branford Magazine theme. The reason I chose Wordpress as a CMS for this website was because of it open platform, wide range of options and ease of maintenance.

    The PHP code footprint for our current configuration is a little large, but since we are running on a tuned dedicated server the performance is good.
