About Our New Look
We are improving the Cool Biking Zone to serve you better
We are always asking our user how we can improve our sites and the user experience, and that feedback is part of some exciting new updates to the Cool Biking Zone site.
The customized Blix theme that the Cool Biking Zone used as a front-end to its CMS system has worked well for a number of years, but with an increasing amount of content on the site it needed better organization and presentation of that information.
Since our desire is to improve the site usability and make more content easily available to our user, we decided to replace the old front-end theme with a new more customizable magazine style by Branford Magazine. Our new front page design now functions as a portal to content on the rest of the site, giving visitors a glimpse at what is available, with simplified main navigation that will let them go in whatever direction they like.
We have created broader categories and included drop-downs that will give the visitors additional information for navigating. Plus we have upgraded all of the site pages and migrated most of our old custom functionality to our new format.
We hope you enjoy our new updates. Please feel free to email me with any questions or suggestions that you may have.
